1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register to use our Products or Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services when you participate in activities on the Products or Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by Roku, Google, Apple, Amazon, Vizio, and Revel Systems where you may find their privacy policy information.
Service Data. If you use our service(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:
- Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile service(s), to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings or opt out here.
- Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and service identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our service(s), we may also collect information about the network associated with your device, your device’s operating system or platform, the type of device you use, your device’s unique device ID, and information about the features of our service(s) you accessed.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our service(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate our Products or Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your full name, credit or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Products or Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Products or Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
The information we collect includes:
- Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Products or Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports and hardware settings).
- Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access our Products or Services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and service identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.
- Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device’s location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services. For example, we may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address). You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling Location settings on your device. If you choose to opt out, some Products or Services may be unavailable.

- To request feedback. We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Products or Services.
- To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may process the personal information you send to us for marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your preferences. You can opt out of email marketing at any time here.
- To deliver relevant advertising to you. We may process your information to display personalized advertising tailored to your interests, location, and demo.
- To protect our Products or Services. We may process your information as part of our efforts to keep our Products or Services safe and secure, including IVT monitoring and fraud prevention.
- To identify usage trends. We may process information about how you use our Products or Services to better understand how they are being used to improve.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on to process your personal information. The following legal bases is used to process your personal information:

- Performance of a Contract. We may process your personal information when we believe it is necessary to fulfill our Rental or Subscription obligations with you, including providing our Products or Services or at your request.
- Legitimate Interests. We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests. For example, we may process your personal information for some of the purposes described to:
- Send users information about special offers and discounts on our products and services
- Develop and display personalized and relevant advertising content for our users
- Analyze how our Products or Services are used so we can improve them to engage and retain users
- Support our marketing activities
- Diagnose problems and/or prevent fraudulent activities
- Understand how our users use our products and services so we can improve user experience
- Legal Obligations. 4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We work with 3rd parties and demand sources who also use technology to collect user data including Device Identifier’s, Advertising IDs, IP Addresses’, and information of our user’s usage of our products and services. You may opt out in your device settings or here. We may need to share your information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- Business Partners. We work with 3rd-party providers who also collect and sometimes store data to better suit our users’ experience and additional features. Utilizing information such as unique Device Identifiers, ‘User-Agent’, or ‘IP address’ associated to your device. This information is not personally identifiable and de-identified to better serve the privacy of our users. Your device’s resources will only be used in a manner that will not noticeably affect device operation and your resources will not be used for computing services such as crypto mining or storage. Partners include but are not limited to:
- API Automations, Roku, Google, Apple, Amazon, Vizio, Nexxen, Microsoft, Leanback Digital, Brightdata SDK, and Revel Systems.

- API Automations, Roku, Google, Apple, Amazon, Vizio, Nexxen, Microsoft, Leanback Digital, Brightdata SDK, and Revel Systems.
- In-App Offer. Our service(s) or product(s) may display a 3rd-party hosted “consent screen”, “paywall” or “in-app offer.” Such an offer allows 3rd-parties to offer virtual currency, gifts, or other items in return for the acceptance and completion of the offer. Such an offer may appear in our service(s) and be displayed based on certain data related to geological or demographic information. Upon consent, a unique identifier will be shared with the provider to secure validation and prevent fraud.
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us, use our Products, or our Services. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete, de-anonymize or de-identify such information. If this is not possible, then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have robust technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we process. While we de-anonymize personal data to enhance privacy and ensure the safety of your information, this data is stored in secure, cold storage systems, making it inaccessible for regular, unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we strive to safeguard our data, we cannot guarantee 3rd parties, such as hackers or cybercriminals, will not circumvent security measures. We encourage you to access our Services within secure environments.
7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In some regions (EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. Withdrawing your consent: We are rely on your consent to process your information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and can withdraw your consent here.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time here, on the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to SMS messages. However, we may still communicate with you to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
Account Information
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can update your account information provided or remove your data here. Once you terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Our products and services comply with GDPR and the Multi-State Privacy Agreement (MSPA) guidelines. We recognize and pass Do-Not-Track (DNT) identifiers and signals when they are activated by user devices. Our products are designed to respond to these identifiers, and process tracking preferences in accordance with user settings. By utilizing advanced technology, we ensure that users’ privacy and tracking identification is respected across our platforms. Should a user enable DNT features, we will limit data collection and ensure adherence to their privacy preferences. Any future updates to online tracking standards will be incorporated into our services, and we will notify users of changes through updates to this privacy policy.
9. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. CCPA Privacy policy
The California Code of Regulations defines a “resident” as:
- every individual who is in the State of California for other than a temporary or transitory purpose and

We may also collect other personal information outside of these category instances where you interact with us in person, online, by phone or mail in the context of:
- Receiving help through our customer support channels;

- Facilitating delivery of our Products or Services and to respond to your inquiries.
10. Multi State Privacy Agreement
In accordance with the Multi State Privacy Agreement (MSPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Virginia Consumer Data Privacy Act (VCDPA), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy (CAPDP), users’ who reside in these states require us and other media-related companies to fulfill additional notices detailing state related users’, legally protected data rights.
Unique identifiers such as IP addresses and device advertising IDs are collected for the sole purpose of optimizing our users’ experience. This information is sometimes passed along to our 3rd party or our advertising partners. This information is used to enable providers and filter out fraudulent activity among other nefarious parties.
Electronic Network Activity and Commercial Information data, including user interactions with our managed apps, user search trends, and buying history are for internal use only. As a US resident, you have the right to make the following requests twice every 12 months:
- The right to request a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you in the previous 12 months.
- The right to request details about the categories of personal information that we collect, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting information, and the categories of third parties with which we share information.
- The right to request deletion of the personal information that we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions.
- The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information that we have collected about you. (subject to exemptions)
- The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.
How do we use and share your personal information?

If you are using an authorized agent to exercise your right to opt out we may deny a request if the authorized agent does not submit proof that they are validly authorized to act on your behalf.
Will your information be shared with anyone else?
We may disclose your information with our service providers pursuant to a written contract between each provider. Each provider is a for-profit entity that transacts the information on our behalf. We may use your information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be “selling” of your personal information.
Show Me Television has not disclosed or sold any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. Show Me Television will not sell personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers without explicit consent and legal rights to do so.
Your rights with respect to your personal data
You can delete your personal information here. If delete your personal information, we will delete your personal information from our database, subject to certain exceptions provided by law, our compliance requirements resulting from a legal obligation, or any processing that may be required to protect against illegal activities. Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to know:
- whether we collect and use your personal information;
- the categories of personal information that we collect;
- the purposes for which the collected personal information is used;
- whether we sell your personal information to third parties;
- the categories of personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose;
- the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and
- the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information.
In accordance with applicable law, we are not obligated to provide or delete consumer information that is de-identified or de-anonymized in response to a consumer request or to re-identify individual data to verify a consumer request. We will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights.
Verification process
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g., phone or email) that you have previously provided to us.
We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.
Other privacy rights
- You may object to the processing of your personal information.
- You may request correction of your personal data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant, or ask to restrict the processing of the information.
- You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.
- You may request to opt out from future selling of your personal information to third parties. Upon opt out request, we will act upon the request as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of the submission.
